POSITION: Operations Associate
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
JOB SUMMARY: Supports the Operations Department with projects and occasional administrative functions, telephone support, and servicing client accounts and other responsibilities as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering and Directing Telephone Calls
Covering Reception and Front Desk as needed
Assist with supporting Marketing Department with sending of materials
Assist Quality Control Departments in review of new accounts, clerical changes, and transactions
Assist Quality Control Departments in review of new accounts, clerical changes, and transactions
Review, clean and enter data into new technologies
Additional administrative tasks, such as faxing, scanning and filing, as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as autonomously
Strong time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Use of the utmost discretion in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Seeing, reading, writing, utilizing a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer implements.Ability to work indoors at a desk for extended periods of time.
Ability to ascend and descend a set of stairs.
Ability to lift and carry 10-20 pounds as needed.
Listen, talk, interact, and effectively communicate with other employees, supervisors and outside contacts.
Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
Use of phone and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Bending, reaching and twisting in the performance of daily job functions.
Ability to work a set schedule consistent with job and/or business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: College Degree preferred
Experience: 1 to 2 years Financial Services industry preferred
